At first glance, the txikitero looks like a regular glass. It’s small hence its name “txiki” which means small in Basque, but it’s robust. It weighs in at slightly over 600 grams and could contain 25 cl of wine if it hadn’t been equipped with such a solid base taking up two-thirds of its height! Indeed, the very unusual txikitero can only hold 12 cl.
